When my husband was only 28, he had an accident at work which damaged his back.

At one point his consultant told him to ready himself for a wheelchair within two years.

It was at this point we tried complementary therapy.

One of my publishers gave me a book on reflexology and from the pictures, I endeavoured to help him.

I learned Reflexology at the British School; passed their exams with Distinction (93%) in 1996.

Advanced training and assessments have placed me on the Register of Advanced Reflexologists since 1999.

I was awarded an Honorary Membership for "Outstanding Work in Advanced Reflexology" in October 2015.

I have also taken courses on Vertical Reflexology and Nerve Reflexology and I belong to the Association of Reflexologists.

I have worked for the probation service in a rehab centre and in a complementary health clinic.
My husband is still walking and he currently works as a lecturer in a local college. He rides a motorbike and loves taking our dog out for walks.
